The foods that are best for us, namely vegetables and fruit, have the least environmental impact in their production. The sustainable food pyramid below was developed by the Barilla Centre for Food and Nutrition. It cleverly shows a correlation between the foods that harm our health, and we should therefore minimise, and the foods that harm the environment.
